What is Carole's Critters? It is two things: an adoption fundraising event for local animal shelters, and a loving tribute to our dearly departed KWPT-FM deejay, Carole Ann Morgal. Carole loved animals and loved to go big or go home, so we plan to go big every year.

Each summer we will host an adoption event with proceeds going to a local animal shelter or rescue organization. Join us for food, fun, music, vendors, and of course... animals!! Watch this space, tune in to our stations, or follow us on social media to stay up to date.

Join us on Saturday, September 6th from 12pm to 4pm at Blue Lake Casino Hotel for a pet adoption & fundraiser event. All proceeds from the gate and a 50/50 raffle will be donated to the Humboldt County Animal Shelter Emergency Medical Fund administered by Friends for Life Animal Rescue.

The entry fee is $10. Kids under 10 enter free. Each entry comes with one raffle ticket to win a cool basket of rad stuff.
